A Note From Kathy
I believe it's incredibly important for worship to remain relevant in today's church.  That is what God calls us to do as Christians... worship Him...it is our loving response to a loving God.  If we're remaining relevant, then for those people who come into the service and don't know Christ personally, I believe that one of the first things that reaches out to them is music.  Music is a medium that relates to everyone... young or old.  I believe that as a worship arts ministry, we're called to a level of our best, a level of quality and excellence before God as we lead our congregation before His throne each and every Sunday. 

In our worship arts ministry, we use drama, creative elements such as multimedia and live music videos to create and atmosphere that sets up the heart and mind for the topic of the pastor's message.  We prepare the road so that people leave the service being able to take away pieces of what they learned and implement them into their daily journey of faith during the week.  I believe that as individuals are reached through creativity and art, as well as music, therefore, we'll strive each and every Sunday to bring the glory and honor due to our Heavenly Father through our creative arts.

Here at First Baptist Church, we place a strong emphasis on engaging our people in a meaningful worship experience.  We strive to create a comfortable atmosphere that allows us to bring honor and glory to God through music, dramas, creative elements and relevant sermons.
