WHAT THE BIBLE IS ALL ABOUT | Teacher:  Ross Erickson | Room #110
This class will be a systematic study of the Scriptures using the book "What the Bible is all About".  The author, Henrietta Mears, was a mentor to Billy Graham and Bill Bright.  This book is a broad overview of how God reveals Himself to mankind thru the Scriptures.  We will see how each book of the Bible fits together to give us a "big picture" view of God's love and plan for His children.  This book also gives the historical and cultural background of key events to help us better understand those parts of the Bible.  I hope you joinus for the great tour of the Scriptures.

WHY I BELIEVE | Teachers:  Caryn van Dijk & Emily Lamb | Room Next to the Library
What happens when we die?  Can miracles be explained? Is there really a God?  Answers to questions such as these are as varied as they are confusing, and spring from a plethora of mystical belief systems.  But the fact is, we can know the truth.  There are solid, logical answers to staisfy the heart and mind of those who are seeking.  If you or someone you know has genuine questions about issues at the core of human existence, this series is an excellent resource!  ACSI approved.  The series includes the following messages of Why I Believe; the Resurrection, Life After Death, the Bible, Creation, the God of the Bible.

JAMES | Teachers:  Tony Cruze & Lilbon Clark | Room #119
The book of James is a straight forward look at a walk with Christ.  This book is a call to action in the need to practice what you preach.  God wants more than justified infants He wants mature daughters and sons.  Imperfect people are welcome!

PROTECTING YOUR FAMILY  | Teacher:  Kyle Dimler | Room #118
Have you ever wondered why it is sometimes so difficul to be a parent?  Why it doesn't come easy to teach your children Biblical principles and have them apply them to their lives?  Do you wonder how you can best shape your young children to be committed followers of Christ?  Scripture gives us clear insight into how God wants us to raise the children he has blessed us with.
Psalm 129:3 "Sons are a heritage from the Lord, children a reward from him."
I Peter 5:8 "Be self-controlee and alert. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour."
John 6:33 "...In this world you will have trouble.  But take heart! I have overcome the world."
Join us as we explore God's Word and Dr. Charles Stanley's insights into how you can be "Protecting Your Family".

ROMANS | Teacher:  Richard Nelson | Room Fireside Room
Salvation and Christian living -- written into a neat letter to the Romans.  We will study the basic truth to believe and by which to live, written by the Apostle Paul.  It will also help our ability to testify and witness concerning the Christian faith.  We plan fellowship, prayer and lively discussions.  You are welcome.

THE HOLE IN OUR GOSPEL  |  Teacher:  Dan Fuglestad  | Room #120

“It wasn't by coincidence that the last book I bought before we left for our mission trip to Guatemala and the first book I saw on the pastor's desk in Guatemala was 'The Hole in Our Gospel' by Richard Stearns.  I started reading it immediately on our flight back to Minnesota. God wanted me to see what I saw and to feel what I felt in that small village of El Yalu.

This book, written by the president of World Vision, really helped me make sense of my experience.  The American church has been blessed so richly!  Now how does God want us to use this blessing to change our country and the world?  Join me in this adventure.  We will be using the book, a DVD, and a study guide. I'm hoping also this study will lead us into a service project here in our community this spring.”
